You Can Do This

I have been in the Internet marketing business for several years. I have seen many others come and go during those years. I have owned many websites and still own so very profitable ones with which I make my living. Those people that I have seen fall by the wayside failed for one of two reasons. 1: They did not sit down and lay out a solid plan for what they wanted to accomplish and then carry through with the necessary steps. Or 2: they got caught up in the get rich quick mentality that so permeates the Internet today. And when the so called Gurus were done bleeding them they gave up. I am here to tell you this doesn't have to happen to anyone if you will just use your head. I am living proof that the ordinary guy/gal can make a good living in the online world. If I can do it anyone can. However, it all starts and end with the amount of effort you want to put into it. Even though you can be your own boss you will most likely find that you are going to be the worst person you ever worked for. Never forget 2 things: 1: You are ONLY going to get out of your business that which you put into it. 2: Even though your working for yourself this is a Job and just like any other job it requires work. The nice thing about it all is you decide the amount of work you will do and you set the hours. Another nice thing is that once you have learned the ropes it gets much easier and you will find you have more time to do the things you enjoy. Just keep in mind It Isn't Going To Happen OVERNIGHT. I'm with Franklyn on this. I think that I'm kinda doin' it right, but the waiting for success wears on you. It doesn't seem to be a straight line up to success either -- more like a gradually ascending sine wave -- up -- down -- up-- down... Right now I'm feeding off of the encouragement of others.
